President Elect Donald W. Richardson, C.P.G.

Mr. Richardson is an expert in supporting contaminated property transfers across a range of technical services, from pre-acquisition due diligence support to remedial action implementation and long-term monitoring.  He holds a Master of Science in Hydrogeology, a Bachelor of Science in Geology, and is a Certified Professional Geologist.  Through his 20 plus years in the environmental consulting and contracting field.  Mr. Richardson has acquired a broad range of project experience ranging from preliminary site evaluations and underground storage tank closures to comprehensive subsurface investigations under federal and state environmental regulatory programs.  Mr. Richardson is well-versed in the requirements of CERCLA, RCRA, and New Jersey Industrial Site Remediation Act (ISRA, formerly ECRA) as well as the fundamentals of developing and implementing environmental investigations and evaluating remedial alternatives.  Currently, Mr. Richardson is a Senior Program Manager with Kleinfelder, Inc.   In addition to his responsibilities at Kleinfelder, he is an active member of the NJ Chapter of the National Brownfields Association Executive Team and also is an active member (former Chairperson) of the NJ Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties’ Regulatory Affairs Committee.  Mr. Richardson is a frequent guest speaker and has published articles addressing risk management strategies and use of environmental site insurance.

AMEC Earth & Environmental, Inc.

Mr. Martin is a Vice President and Principal of the firm. He has a national role in AMEC’s transportation sector and serves as managing Principal for AMEC’s largest commercial client. He is also the Chairman of AMEC’s Technical Council. Mr. Martin has over 28 years of experience, covering nearly all aspects of environmental and civil services. He has served as engineer, project manager, and/or Principal-in-Charge for numerous complex multi-disciplinary projects. Mr. Martin is a published author, has served as an expert witness, and is an active member of several professional societies. Currently he serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Program Committee Chairman for ASFE. Mr. Martin was born in Louisville, KY and has a B.S. and Master’s degree from the University of Louisville in Civil Engineering.

Lourie Consultants

 

Mr. Lourie is the founder and owner of Lourie Consultants, a New Orleans-area geotechnical and geoenvironmental consulting and engineering firm. The firm provides services to clients in the commercial, governmental, and industrial business sectors. His professional career began in 1979, and over the years, he has combined project experience with continued education to develop effective project leadership, execution, and management skills.


Before forming Lourie Consultants in 1992, he was president of Fugro-McClelland (Southeast), Inc., a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm with several offices in Louisiana, and part of the international firm, Fugro N.V. Prior to joining Fugro-McClelland (formerly McClelland Engineers, Inc.) in 1981, Mr. Lourie was a soil and materials engineer for Soil Testing Services, Northbrook, Illinois, a full-service, multi-office geotechnical, construction materials, and environmental consulting firm.


Mr. Lourie holds the BSCE and MSCE from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He has been an adjunct associate professor at Tulane University, a visiting lecturer at McNeese State University, and an invited speaker at the University of New Orleans and Louisiana State University. Mr. Lourie has written or co-authored articles and has made presentations concerning technical and business practice issues.


Mr. Lourie is a member of Louisiana Engineering Society (former Lake Charles Branch President), National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers (former New Orleans Branch President and former Chairman of the Geotechnical Activities Group). He is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (former New Orleans Chapter President), Chi Epsilon, and ASFE/The Best People on Earth. Mr. Lourie has chaired ASFE’s Professional Practice Committee, its Codes & Standards Committee. He now is ASFE’s Program Chair and serves on its Board of Directors. He was ASFE’s primary representative on the 25-member Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) committee assembled by the US EPA for regulatory negotiation of the rule that defines “All Appropriate Inquiry” (AAI) for due diligence studies. He is active volunteer in a variety of civic and community organizations, and served on a 1985 AIA R/UDAT study for Bethel Island, California.
